I've been catching up on reading the advertising related email subscriptions and came across one regarding the new Burger King campaign. It is done in a documentary style format where customers are led to believe BK has eliminated the Whopper from the menu forever. Real customers share their thoughts and feelings about the Whopper being gone.
This campaign is brilliant especially if you take the time to watch the 10 minute video documenting the entire experiment called "Whopper Freakout". The real life reactions of the customers are more humorous than depicted in the few 30 sec commercials produced.
