Are we heading to an Internet burnout?

This question was posed on LinkedIn.com by Richard Meyer.

Here's my response:

There is no way anyone is close to an Internet burnout anytime soon. Why? Because there is nothing out there (yet) to replace it. Unlike TV, which has matured but not obsolete, the Internet is still in a growing stage where individuals, organizations and companies are just now learning how to get better returns out it. That being said, there remains so much more growth to experience.

What are your thoughts? Do you think differently?
